Testimonies

We believe that God is always at work and that He does EVERYTHING on a God-sized scale.  It's time for His Daughters to invite Jesus into every area of our lives so that His Kingdom can reign -- it's Eve's time!  His Movement isn't just for the women who are part of Family of Faith Women, it's worldwide. 

"Friday’s meeting was really insightful and very enlightening. With the topic being about love, it was interesting to learn how we all have different viewpoints on love. Also how we all have different methods of showing our love. What was most gratify in the meeting, was to learn that God loves me no matter the content or quantity of the poor decisions, choices, etc, that were made. His love is on an  level that is unfathomable.  It moved me tears that through all the mistakes I’ve made in my life and have yet to make, God’s depth in loving me will not waiver.  God is committed to me and requires so little.  I must say that the meeting was a unique experience for me because when leaving I truly felt that there was no need to pretend that I have it all together. Instead
I felt that I can take a breath of relief, because I don’t have to do all the worrying or go through my share of problems alone.  Though I have much farther to go in building my relationship with God, I don’t feel that it is an unobtainable task. My smile is definitely brighter!

"This last meeting with Shirley as the speaker/facilitator was great!  She made the explanation of love very simple when she said Love is a Spirit. It is the greatest gift ever given and the giver was God and Jesus is that spirit.  Put in that context, I understand even better that the spirit of love never changes, it can’t be controlled, created, or forced.  We either have it or we don’t.  It’s beautiful and perfect.  If I look at it that way and I want to be honest with myself, then I’ll have to start identifying when love is flowing from me and when it is not.  I know when I am receiving it and when I am not…I want to be honest with myself and not fool myself anymore.

Something else phenomenal she said was that Lust is a taker (it’s about what I want/what you can give me) Love gives (freely).  I use to think lust was all about sex, but in actuality according to her understanding which I received, lust can be about sex if I’m all about sex because lust is about what I can get from you.  Because lust is about me, what I need, what I want."

"I would like to start by saying thank  lord for another day clean n sober my testimony is in 2009 on my way to work I had an argument with my daughter in law I am not going to say it was her fault but she added to it, I had a massive heart attack and it was BAD I had to learn how to talk, walk, function with my hand, use the bathroom for myself I didn't give GOD the glory that He deserve and I am so sorry for that God has been with me ever since.  It's so hard to communicate with him.  Today I am still learning how to do certain things it’s not easy but I try like functioning mentally that’s hard but I want stop by to give him glory. I walk with a limp but that’s ok.  Thanks for listening."
